About Dioni Martín
Martín Lobato (Madrid, October 31, 1970), better known as Dioni, is a Spanish singer and composer who achieved fame after being one of the members of the group Camela. Dioni, Ángeles and Miguel Ángel were three teenagers trying to survive in their neighborhood, with their humble jobs. In addition to their friendship, they shared a love of music, so in their free time they used to get together to play and sing songs by artists they admired. At first, they opted for flamenco rumbas and ballads. With “Lágrimas de amor”, Camela established herself within the Spanish musical scene. Its formula was simple and novel: songs composed by Michelangelo that reflected stories, generally of love and heartbreak, using a vocabulary very close to the listeners.
